In a large mixing bowl:
-
Lightly mash a few of the softer florets (this helps the coating stick better).
-
Add eggs, flour (or breadcrumbs), grated cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-
Mix well until fully combined.
The mixture should lightly coat each floret without being too wet.
3. Cook Until Golden and Crispy
You have two cooking options:
Option 1: Pan-Fried (Extra Crispy)
-
Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
-
Add the coated florets in a single layer.
-
Cook for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and crispy on all sides.
Option 2: Oven-Baked (Healthier Option)
-
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
-
Place florets on a lined baking sheet.
-
Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
-
Bake until crisp and golden brown.
For even more crunch, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
4. Garnish and Serve
