- Powdered sugar
- Citric acid
- Fine semolina or flour
Preparation :
- Mix in two tablespoons of very fine powdered sugar.
- Add two teaspoons of citric acid.
- Add half a tablespoon of fine semolina or flour.
- Mix all the ingredients together well.
- Place the mixture in small bowls or bags.
- Place them in areas where you see cockroaches (behind the refrigerator, under the sink, in cupboards, etc.).
Sugar attracts cockroaches, while citric acid acts as a repellent and prevents them from staying.
Bay leaves: a natural repellent
Bay leaves are an excellent natural repellent against cockroaches thanks to their strong odor which they cannot tolerate.
How to use it:
Place bay leaves in:
- the cupboards,
- the drawers,
- the pantry,
- under the sink,
- near the bin,
- behind the furniture.
You can also lightly crush the leaves to release more of the aroma.
